Lee Latchford-Evans is best known as one-fifth of Brit Award winning band Steps, the UK’s most successful mixed sex pop group of all time, with 14 top five singles, 3 number one albums, over 20 million record sales and 7 sold-out national arena tours under their belts. The band’s hits include #1’s ‘Tragedy’, ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘Stomp’, the gold certified ‘One For Sorrow’ and ‘Better Best Forgotten’, the silver certified ‘5,6,7,8’, Last Thing On My Mind, Love’s Got A Hold Of My Heart’, ‘Chain Reaction’ and many more.

In 2011 the band scored another #1 album with their ‘Ultimate Collection’ release, followed by a sky1 documentary series ‘Steps Reunion’ - the highest rating original programme on Sky that year.

This then spawned a second series ‘Steps on the Road’ following the band on their sell out UK Arena Tour.

In 2017, the band marked 20 Years of Steps and released their first single in over 6 years ’Scared Of The Dark’ which hit #1 on iTunes. They released their ‘Tears On The Dancefloor’ album in April which also reached #1 on iTunes and has now been certified Gold.  The album also featured BBC Radio 2 A-List singles ‘Story Of A Heart’ (written by Benny & Bjorn from ABBA) and ‘Neon Blue’ where Lee was assistant Director to the video. 2017 ended on a high for the band, as they embarked on their 22 date sold out ‘Party On The Dancefloor Tour’ across arenas in the UK & Ireland, selling over 300,000 tickets - making it one of the biggest pop tours of the year.  2018 saw Steps play an additional 17 stadium and outdoor shows as part of their ‘Summer Of Steps’ tour.

TV & Radio performances for Lee and Steps over this past year include BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Live From The Palladium and Radio 2’s Chris Evans Breakfast Show.

Alongside the band, Lee has also presented show’s such as MTV, The Vault and Smash Hits Poll winners among others. He has appeared in reality TV show’s 'The Games', 'The Match', 'Fear Factor' and won the competitive SAS style show ‘Commando VIP’.

Lee is also a professional Actor and has starred on London’s West End in the musical 'Grease' and 'The Comedy Trials' in Leicester Square. He has played Triston Farnon in 'All Creatures Great and Small', Christian in new musical ‘Wolfboy’, Bob in the theatre production of ‘Rita Sue and Bob to’ and in 2016 took on the lead character Niko Nikovsky in the Smash musical ‘Eurobeat’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

His Film credits include British Feature Films ‘10 Dead men’, ‘Cash & Curry’, the 2017 Sci fi Horror ‘The Rizen’ and 2018’s Action Thriller ‘Dead Ringer’.

On top of all this Lee is a qualified personal trainer and a 2nd Dan Black Belt in kickboxing
